Why You Need Polygon Network

wDINEC runs on the Polygon blockchain. Your wallet must be set to Polygon Mainnet to:

• See your wDINEC balance
• Send and receive wDINEC
• Swap other cryptocurrencies for wDINEC
• Pay gas fees (small amount of MATIC required)

Step 1: Open MetaMask

1. Click the MetaMask extension icon in your browser
2. Log in to your wallet
3. Look at the top of the MetaMask window. You will see the current network (usually “Ethereum Mainnet”)

Step 2: Open the Network Dropdown

1. Click the dropdown menu at the top of MetaMask
2. A list of available networks appears
3. Click Add Network at the bottom of the list

Step 3: Enter Polygon Network Details

Fill in these fields exactly as shown:

Step 4: Save the Network

1. Click Save
2. MetaMask will add Polygon Mainnet to your network list
3. Switch to Polygon Mainnet by selecting it from the network dropdown

Step 5: Verify You Are on Polygon

After switching, MetaMask should show:

• Network name: Polygon Mainnet
• Currency symbol: MATIC
• Your balance (if you have MATIC)

1. Go to chainlist.org
2. Search for “Polygon”
3. Find Polygon Mainnet
4. Click Connect Wallet

Can’t see wDINEC balance	You need to add the wDINEC contract address manually (see Article 4 when published)
Transactions failing	You need MATIC for gas fees. Buy small amount first.
